LINE & COPY EDITING: (Starting at $0.006/word)

Combining the second and third stages of the editing process, the line and copy edit is a line-by-line edit focusing on:

  • Writing Style

  • Sentence Clarity and Flow

  • Readability and Comprehension

  • Grammar

  • Punctuation

  • Consistency

A sample edit is available free of charge, up to the first 1,000 words, to ensure a harmonious fit between editor and author!

Note: This edit is meant to be completed after developmental (structural) edits and/or plot- and character-focused revisions.

PROOFREADING: (Starting at $0.003/word)

The final stage in the editing process, the proofread is the final read-through before publication, focusing on catching last-minute typos such as:

  • Missing or Incorrect Punctuation

  • Missing or Misspelled Words and Phrases

  • Incorrect Page/Chapter Numbers

  • Inconsistent Formatting

Note: This edit is meant to be completed after line and copy edits and formatting.
